Data protection charter

In respect of the processing of personal data (hereinafter “the Data”) BetterBusiness complies with the GDPR and the Belgian privacy and data protection requirements, specifically the law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of physical persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Data processed by BetterBusiness

BetterBusiness collects and processes the personal data provided by the Partner, namely: first name, last name, address, postal code and city, country and, if applicable, the company name.

Data processing record

The data collected is strictly limited to that necessary for the proper performance of the services provided by BetterBusiness and to produce anonymous statistics for the sole purpose of improving its services. BetterBusiness also keeps the Partner’s data to facilitate future orders.

Security measures

BetterBusiness has put suitable technical and organisational security measures in place to safeguard the security of the information and prevent it from being distorted, damaged or disclosed to unauthorised third parties. In accordance with Articles 24 and 28 of the GDPR, BetterBusiness works with a contracted IT partner who also complies with the GDPR: 26lights.be.

When you visit the BetterBusiness website, cookies may be installed on your computer to facilitate your visit and optimise your browsing experience. BetterBusiness is keen to share with its partners the issues it cares about in terms of good governance. In accordance with the RGPD, BetterBusiness asks each Partner for their prior consent. Rights of the partner with regard to their personal data

The Partner has the following rights with respect to BetterBusiness’ processing of their personal data:

  • The Partner can consult their personal data free of charge, ask what use BetterBusiness makes of their data and ask to rectify, complete or delete their data.
  • The Partner has the right to object to the processing of their personal data on compelling and legitimate grounds.
  • The Partner has the right to object to the use of their data for direct marketing purposes without having to give any reason (although BetterBusiness undertakes not to pass on this data). The Partner can send their requests to the e-mail address info@betterbusiness.be.
  • The Partner can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Privacy Commission (without prejudice to civil action)
